Open world is one of the main contents of Heart of Deimos, the second month of the planet Mars.
Who says free-to-play games without pay-to-win microtransaction cannot succeed? Digital Extremes managed to break the theory through Warframe. Although it had experienced ups and downs due to the "experiment" they did, but the London-based developer managed to present the ninja co-op game in space as one of the best free-to-play games ever. The content that keeps updating keeps the game alive until this moment. Including the expansion which was added unceasingly.
Starting with The Second Dream in 2015, Digital Extremes continues to provide new expansion each year. The climax is when the addition of a social sandbox / open-world hub and field to be explored through Plains of Eidolon in 2017. Changing the Warframe is much more different than when the game was released in 2013 ago.
Now, Digital Extremes is ready to give back a new expansion titled Heart of Deimos which will present the third open world of the game. This expansion will provide a new area, the hive of an Infested enemy, named the Dark Entrati and a new underground cave design.
This expansion also adds the Helminth Chrysalis System, which allows players to unlock new abilities using Helminth's resources. New Necromech for exploration was also added. This Necromech will run slower than Warframe, but has tremendous destructive power and defense.
Do not stop there, Heart of Deimos will also provide new tutorials for new players. Makes them easier to understand the world of Warframe before grinding without stopping.
Heart of Deimos is planned to be released at Warframe on August 25, 2020 later on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
