The latest, Rare as the developer plans to bring a new update into the game, titled Ashen Wind. However, this will not come anytime soon, because the developer has just announced a delay regarding the update.

Announced via his Twitter account, the update that was planned to be present on July 22 was forced to be postponed because there were some technical issues that needed to be fixed. Now, the free update is getting a new release date on 29 July.

Previously, Rare said it would stop the server on July 22 yesterday to make the new update, but on July 15 to July 21, the Sea of ​​Thieves players complained about a server problem that made them unable to get access to the server to be able to play the game. Responding to this, Rare as the developer immediately moved quickly to try to fix it even though it had to bear the delay in its new update.

Apart from this, Sea of ​​Thieves has also reportedly managed to sell 1 million copies of the game on the Steam platform. Now, the total owner of the game from the beginning of the game's release has reached 15 million players.
