It looks like the wait for PUBG Mobile players for the latest version of Erangel will soon be answered. After experiencing a delay of almost a year, finally Erangel 2.0 is officially present on the test server from PUBG Mobile. The plan is that after visiting the test server, the latest version of Erangel is prepared by the developer for global release on September 21, 2020 along with a new mode called Ace Union.
Of course, the presence of the latest version of Erangel is accompanied by some significant changes in appearance or gameplay. In terms of graphics, Erangel 2.0 reportedly supports settings for Ultra High Quality, where this will make the environment on this one map, such as water, buildings, and various objects appear more detailed and more alive.
Meanwhile, in gameplay Erangel 2.0 will present quite significant changes, because the latest version of this map adds a new location called Basements and several new layout additions for the Prison, Mine, and Nuclear Plant locations. Basements itself is said to be the location that will create so much loot and so that contact between players will occur quite often here. As for the new Ace Union mode itself, reportedly it will have a feature called Memory Fragment, where you are required to collect 5 types of fragments to win the game.
Given that Erangel itself is currently only available on the test server version, most likely when its release later the developer will add various updates and new features that will provide a new experience when trying Erangel 2.0. Let's just wait, hopefully this map won't be delayed any longer by Tencent and Timi Studio.
