Various signals have been thrown by Activision and Treyarch regarding the new installation of Call of Duty game from the Black Ops series in recent weeks. Known to take the subtitle Cold War, fans certainly expect that the next Black Ops will bring the players back to “feel” the silent tension after the second world war.
But fans finally got to see a little of the game setting that the developer was trying to present through the teaser that was just released. Interestingly, the trailer includes original interview pieces related to the cold war that occurred between America (Western Bloc) and the Soviet Union (Eastern Bloc).
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term, cold war is easily seen as an espionage war, where the allied countries concerned sneak spies into opposition countries, usually to steal classified information related to the military or politics.
This also seems to indicate that Black Ops Cold War will likely present more reconnaissance and infiltration missions like the first Black Ops, and may have an attachment to the story or character, considering that the setting itself is both in cold war times.
There is no clear information regarding the release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War or the intended platforms. However, we can expect more information on the World Premiere which is planned to arrive on August 26, 2020 local time.
