Instagram recently announced that they will soon release a new feature called Reels. This feature allows you to make a short video that is similar to the competitor, namely TikTok.

In an information, Instagram will launch it in early August. This feature will be released for around 50 countries, where the United States will be the first to taste this feature.

One Facebook spokesman said if they were very happy because it will soon release this feature

In a trial, Reels received a positive response from Instagram users who were included in the beta tester list.

Instagram Will Launch Features To Compete TikTok

This feature has actually been released by Instagram in several countries, such as India, Brazil, France, and Germany.

"Users from every country show their enthusiasm to create short video creations with the Reels feature, including creator content," said a Facebook spokesman.

As we know, currently TikTok is one of the very popular applications that has been banned in several countries, one of which is India even though India is one of the largest TikTok users in the world.

That way, this is an opportunity for Reels to get a place in these countries. Reels itself will become an Instagram feature, where users can create a short video that can be given music and special effects.

Later, the video will disappear automatically after 24 hours, like Instagram Story which was launched first.

Even so, Instagram until now has not provided definite confirmation related to the launch of the Reels feature.
