Looks like Epic Games finally gave up with Google, the article after almost 18 months after the release period, the flagship Battle Royale genre game that is Fortnite you can finally download through Google Playstore. The main reason Epic Games itself changed their mind, was because Fortnite which previously could only be downloaded via direct download through their website was not successful in providing benefits.
They realize that if they release the game through direct download, Google has the right to block applications that are not downloaded via the Play Store, so they do not provide benefits. They conveyed this through an interview with Polygon some time ago. Epic game states that after officially presenting a game on the Google Play Store, they hope Google will change their policies and ways of doing business. As we know before, the Epic Games criticized Google's policy that will take 30% of the profits from each game in the Play Store is considered unfair and detrimental to the developer.
Let's just wait whether the decision of Epic Games to bring Fortnite, Google Play Store is able to make this one game can compete with similar games like PUBG Mobile and Free Fire? Let's just wait.
